I'm not fully back, just visiting
Kind of thought I'd stop in and say hi to all of those still around. Mostly friends. So, hi. I'm busy with a lot of writing and such irl, so things have changed a bit. I sadly don't have a pen/tablet anymore. T_T Or else I may draw. Now I just have a sketchbook.
Anyways, thanks to all who have been wishing me happy birthday and still enjoying my art. Cross my fingers that one day, I'll be able to do stuff again!
Decisions, decisions..
So I plan to draw once I get my desktop. I am getting a cintiq from my brother so looking fwd to that. But mostly I want to get into it again. I miss it. So there are three things I want to get done:
My picture for my friend of her character Dakota
My comic for another friend
My OCs
To me it's really important I get my OCs done. At least 1 of each currently. Which would you guys like to see? Nikki, brandy, I know what you guys will choose.
Free Sketch vs Structured Body
Now one thing I've had trouble with and if you go through my work you can see this is the "animated" poses. Mostly cause I'm SUCH a perfectionist I want everything to be proper sizes and anatomically correct and I feel that this has led to a lack of creativity and true vision in my work. A lot fo the pictures were editing after the sketch cause I felt since I couldn't do it perfect, I should just change it. Lately though I've just been drawing freely without worry of it being correct and it's come out pretty cool. I don't use my guides anymore. I just worry I might make some bad habits.
What do you guys think? Do you sketch without skeletons
So, it's summer.
God, it's been forever hasn't it? A lot of things have happened for me this past while. I am heading off to University of Hawaii at Manoa in a month for 4 years of college. I plan on studying Marine Biology. It's not like I plan to be a lot more active but I think when I do move, I'll be drawing more. The environment and the people in my life have been a bit stagnant. Already in anticipation I've FINISHED - not just started - two drawings. I REALLY hope I can come back to this community. You guys are all so wonderful and I miss the arts and the creativity that deviantart provides.

Hello there! I wanted to try out buying commissions...and I figured that I could spare 3 bucks ^^ I was wondering if I could have 2 chibis in the same picture, but under $4? o:
